Pet Wild Side
About Pet Wild Side
Updated
Pet Wild Side is for curious pet owners who want to know why their animals do what they do.
Meet Juno and Miso
Juno, a rescue dog with one floppy ear, and Miso, a tabby cat, are the painted pets you will meet around the house. They never talk; a narrator explains. Each episode is led by its subject, and other pets, like Pip the hamster, Clover the rabbit and Ziggy the bearded dragon, appear in their own episodes.
How we check facts
- Every episode and explainer lists its sources, with links where they exist.
- Ideas that are not proven are marked as ideas, legends as legends, and where accounts disagree we say so.
- Wild scenes are painted and dramatized from field research; animal-sense views are illustrations, not measurements.
- We correct mistakes on the page and note the date.
